The 2018 North Carolina Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report (CAPER) summarizes the accomplishments of four North Carolina state agencies involved with the federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program. The United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) administers the funds at the federal level.
The Four Agencies Are:
- North Carolina Department of Commerce, Rural Economic Development Division
- North Carolina Housing Finance Agency
- North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services, Division of Aging and Adult Services
- North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services, HIV Care Program
These four agencies and their HUD-funded programs are working together to meet three goals for the good of North Carolinians. These three basic goals are: to provide decent and affordable housing, to provide a suitable living environment and to expand economic opportunity to all North Carolinians.
