North Carolina recently scored well in a progress report released by the Workforce Data Quality Campaign which details the steps that states have undertaken to integrate and effectively use workforce data. North Carolina was cited as an example of a “best practice” state for the release of our online tool, NC TOWER, which has the ability to show earnings from graduates of our state’s public higher education system.
According to the report, North Carolina was making progress in 10 areas and had achieved or mostly achieved three others out of a 13-point blueprint for success the organization has created. LEAD continues to work with state agencies, education, and workforce partners around the state through the Common Follow-up System (CFS) in order to more fully capture our education and workforce development activities and outcomes.
