North Carolina's unemployment rate for December remained unchanged at 3.6 percent from the revised November rate. This is 0.3 of a percentage point lower than the U.S. rate at 3.9 percent.
Seasonally adjusted Total Nonfarm employment increased by 1,200 in December to 4,536,400.
