North Carolina's unemployment rate grew 1.0 percentage point from the revised June rate of 7.5 percent. This is 1.7 percentage points lower than the U.S. rate at 10.2 percent.
Seasonally adjusted Total Nonfarm employment increased by 57,200 in July to 4,286,300.
