Not seasonally adjusted unemployment rates decreased in all of North Carolina's 100 counties in August. Sixty-nine counties had rates that were either at or below the state's 6.8 percent not seasonally adjusted rate, which decreased 2.0 percentage points from the July revised unemployment rate.
Unemployment rates decreased in all of North Carolina’s 15 Metropolitan Statistical Areas.
