North Carolina's unemployment rate declined from the revised January rate of 5.9 percent. This is 0.5 of a percentage point lower than the U.S. rate at 6.2 percent.
Seasonally adjusted Total Nonfarm employment increased by 14,400 in February to 4,452,900.
