North Carolina's unemployment rate at 4.6% declined from the revised May rate of 4.8 percent. This is 1.3 percent lower than the U.S. rate at 5.9 percent.
Seasonally adjusted Total Nonfarm employment increased by 41,900 in June to 4,502,400.
