North Carolina's unemployment rate at 4.4% declined from the revised June rate of 4.6 percent. This is 1.0 percent lower than the U.S. rate at 5.4 percent.
Seasonally adjusted Total Nonfarm employment increased by 75,600 in July to 4,580,800.
