Not seasonally adjusted unemployment rates decreased in 50 of North Carolina's 100 counties in February, increased in 12, and remained unchanged in 38. Fifty-six counties had rates that were either at or below the state's 3.7 percent not seasonally adjusted rate, which decreased 0.1 of a percentage point from the January revised unemployment rate.
Unemployment rates decreased in nine of North Carolina’s 15 Metropolitan Statistical Areas.
