Not seasonally adjusted unemployment rates decreased in 83 of North Carolina's 100 counties in April, increased in four, and remained unchanged in 13. Fifty-two counties had rates that were either at or below the state's 3.4 percent not seasonally adjusted rate, which decreased 0.1 of a percentage point from the March revised unemployment rate.
Unemployment rates decreased in 12 of North Carolina’s 15 Metropolitan Statistical Areas.
