DRAFT | Proposed Guidelines for the Major Events, Games, and Attractions Fund

This draft document, which contain proposed Guidelines for the Major Events, Games, and Attractions Fund program is undergoing a public comment period by the Department of Commerce.  The Guidelines will be effective July 1, 2025. 

Hard copies of the Guidelines will be made available by the Communications Office of the Department of Commerce to those persons requesting them.

Public comments on the Guidelines will be accepted in oral and written form until 5:00 p.m. on June 13, 2024. Written comments are to be provided to the Commerce Finance Center by mail addressed to:

An opportunity for oral comments will be provided. A virtual public comment session will take place from 1:00pm to 2:00pm on June 5, 2024.  Details about this session will be published shortly.
