On August 22, 2024, BOEM published a Call for Information and Nominations for a second offshore wind sale in the Central Atlantic. The Call initiated a 60-day public comment period that ends on October 21, 2024. During the 60-day public comment period, BOEM is hosting a series of public meetings, including this virtual public meeting.
This meeting will provide an opportunity for the public to receive an update on BOEM’s commercial offshore wind energy planning activities ahead of a possible second Central Atlantic lease auction in early 2026. The meeting will include an opportunity for the public to provide oral feedback. Registration is required.
