—In anticipation of Hurricane Irene’s impact on eastern North Carolina, the NC Division of Tourism, Film and Sports Development (NCSTD) is assisting residents and travelers displaced by Hurricane Irene in finding available lodging away from the storm.
Gov. Bev Perdue today announced that P&G Manufacturing (PGM) will build a manufacturing facility that will increase its capacity to produce air filtration equipment in Washington, N.C. The company expects to create 32 full time jobs and invest $4 million in the plant by 2012.
