Gov. Bev Perdue today announced that Kleen Tech Inc. will build a new process facility in Valdese to accommodate business growth. The company plans to create 30 jobs and invest $1.17 million during the next three years.

Gov. Bev Perdue today announced that Medicago [Med-ih-CAH-go] USA Inc. will locate a new vaccine production facility in Durham. The company is a wholly owned subsidiary of Medicago, Inc., a publicly traded company based in Quebec, Canada.

Gov. Bev Perdue today announced that Noranda Aluminum Holding Corp will expand its Norandal USA plant in Salisbury. The company plans to create 25 jobs and invest $7 million. The project was made possible in part by a $108,000 grant from the One North Carolina Fund.
